But the point is, you can’t make everyone happy. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t agree with intentionally offending anyone or tolerate incompetence, but where is the line? There is always a balance of creativity, budget, timing, client approval, and the list goes on.
I just think we are all too happy to sue someone about anything these days if we feel negatively impacted by something someone does, be it a person or organization, or just a feeling we get after an experience. There are frivilous lawsuits allover the place.
And remember, coffee is traditionally a hot beverage, and if you decide that driving and drinking scalding hot coffee at the same time is a good idea, be sure to have an attorney on speed dial, because it must be there fault by allowing you to purchase coffee at a drive-thru anyway.

I agree. I think that today’s societly is getting too carried away with the never-ending legal battles over something as insignificant as a hot cup of coffee. However, I do also think that some advertisments go to the extent of offending people just to add “shock-value” to their advertisments. What ever happened to clean humor?
