Mobile music in the Asia-Pacific
May 27, 2007 – 9:17 amI was reading Billboard magazine this weekend when an ad for Soundbuzz caught my attention:
Today, mobile music accounts for more than 95% of digital music sales in the Asia-Pacific.
According to a Billboard article (May26: The Path to China), there are between 450 and 500 million mobile phone subscribers in China alone.
There are several business models that will emerge, but someone is going to retire a little bit earlier if they figure out that one. And many people are trying.
