Age of Conversation Book to Launch July 16th
July 11, 2007 – 5:18 pm
The Age of Conversation book is near completion and will be available for purchase next week!
A few months ago, I heard from Matt Dickman about a book project in the works that was being organized by Drew McLellan and Gavin Heaton.
Here was the original assignment:
- 100 or so authors (I’m 1 of the many).
- The overriding topic is “The Conversation Age” — where you take it is up to you (my section was on mobile).
- The items are short - one 8.5″ x 11″ page — it can be words, diagrams, photos (again up to you) If it is words - about 400, give or take a couple.
Originally, the project only included an e-book, but there was a big enough demand for paperback and hardback books as well, so those options will be available.
Read about the book’s origin. There is a great list of people contributing to this project, including a pretty extensive author list. Proceeds from the book will benefit Variety, the Children’s Charity.
Launch date:
Monday, July 16th
Formats/Prices:
Hardbacks $29.99
Paperbacks $16.95
E-book $9.99
Watch this blog (and all the other authors’ blogs) for more details and a link to the Age of Conversation store on Monday, July 16th!
